Sheraton Hotel in Portland. Photo by mysticchildz. From the exterior this property appears to be older but in good condition. The lobby is small with elevators directly in front of you as you enter. The check-in desk isto the right. Local and national newspapers are available. My check-in went smoothly and my request for a river view room was granted. To the left as you enter the property is a resturant and sitting area with fireplace.

My room was as expected (2 double beds) and perhaps slightly smaller in square footage than typical Four Points rooms. I was given a fifth floor (top) room with a beautiful view of the park and river. The day of my check-in was clear and Mt. Hood was visable in the distance. Other reviews I have read about this property complained about the rooms climate control and street noise. I did not experience a problem with either of these. Two windows in the room open for extra air circulation.

There is no club level lounge at this property. There is no pool at this property. On site parking is $15.00 per day. I utilized street parking which is free from 7pm until 8am. The fitness facility (located on the fourth floor) was very well furnished with free weights, two treadmills, ect. Local transit street cars pass directly by the property and are free. I did not utilize the street cars since there were several resturants within an easy walk of the hotel. The hotel offers room service from their on-site resturant, however I did not use this service.

Overall I was very happy with my stay here and will visit this location again. The hotel was also a very good value at $100.00 per night.
