This property is the closest hotel to the Parsenn ski lift (actually funicular), a well-stocked ski rental shop and acouple of minute walk from the train station. It is also right on the bus lines to other ski areas, ranging rom 3-10 minute rides and a 20 minute train ride to neighboring Klosters ski resort.
The only glitch to speak of was our reservation for 2 double beds that was a King instead. So, our choice was the terrific room with King bed or a pretty good room with two doubles. We opted for the latter and were fine. As with most European properties, the rooms were a bit on the cozy side. We did enjoy a front of hotel view of the park and town.
The fitness and spa area was particularly large and of high quality. The co-ed sauna that was clothing optional was a bit of a shock for this American, but I adjusted nicely!!
Didn't take any meals at the hotel, but the room service was the typically high price with high service charge, so no surprises there. Complimentary water and fruit/candy tray were nice touches to acknowledge my status. Was also provoded choice of extra points, minibar credit or wine/fruit.
The hotel is exceptionally well-kept and decorated.
The front desk staff was helpful with the room snafu and at recommending good restaurants. No problems with baggage storage or extended check-out on our last day. There were baskets of fresh fruit at the front desk each day as well, where we were encouraged to partake.
I would definitely recommend this propery for the ski-inclined SPG member.
