I have stayed at the Sheraton Bradley Airport Hotel about 10 times. So perhaps I have a few things to offer on the hotel. First thing to note is that it is in better condition than the Sheraton Hartford downtown. The Bradley hotel is clean and updated; and the staff are terrific -- down-to-earth, cheerful and friendly.

The rooms at the hotel are comfortable since they are "Sweet Sleeper" beds. The food at the two on-site establishments (or room service) is surprisingly not overpriced. The club level is on floor 8 and is typical in every way (breakfast, drinks, evening snacks, service desk, etc.). As a Platinum member, I always get an upgrade to the club floor, but I've never seen a suite here. Whatever room you get, try to request one that is facing away from the runway. Although, I guess some people like that. Oh, and keep in mind that the fitness center here is laughable.

If you keep your car in hotel garage, it is steps from the lobby... if you have to drive it anywhere in Hartford, though, be prepared to sit in a bit of traffic. After check-out, a short walk leaves you at the airline check-in areas. I mean, this hotel is literally part of the whole airport complex unlike other so-called "airport hotels" that I've seen.

One note of caution: On spg.com there is a note that this property is "leaving" the Starwood family as of 8/7/06. Trying to find out if this property is being rebranded is still unknown.

OVerall, the hotel is a little worn around the edges but otherwise perfectly acceptable. If one is leaving on a 7:00AM flight, or arriving at 11PM, this is an ideal hotel to stay at!
