Lexington allows me to bounce between the Four Points and this Sheraton, where I've accumulated over 10 stays. Granted, they're usually one-nighters since I alternate with the Four Points with the aim of renewing my Platinum status through February 2008 before the end of February 2006 (when it would otherwise expire).
If you are Platinum, try to get upgraded to one of their "super" suites. These are typically in the x35 room number range, where x is the floor (2 through 5). You will find HUGE jacuzzi tubs in all the rooms, but the larger suites have a 6-chair conference table. Suite 235, in particular, has an enormous balcony that sits over the hotel driveway entrance. This room would be great for large parties.
In all my stays, I've found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. The location of the Sheraton Suites is very convenient to New Circle Road and close to downtown, with several decent restaurants nearby (a great sushi restaurant - forget the name, Panera, Chop House, and Applebees are some that I've tried). The hotel restaurant looked quite nice, but I did not try it.
If you have a choice in Lexington between this hotel and the Four Points (and at the government rate of $79/night offered at both hotels, I do have this choice), there is no contest. Go with the Sheraton Suites everytime. Not only do instead 250, but also much nicer rooms, friendlier staff, and a better selection of local restaurants.

Stayed at this property a few weekends ago. I would echo the previous reviewers comments. As a Gold, was put on the Preferred Guest floor. Both of our rooms had large jet tub/showers and plenty of space to spread out. The sitting rooms are large with a TV and refrigerator. (There is a TV in the bedroom as well.)
I found the staff accomodating; especially after I called four times trying to find the hotel (which is not easy at 2AM)! It is tucked at the back of a strip mall, which actually is a good thing. Panera (free Wifi) is within a 2-minute walking distance as are a few other restaurants such as Applebees. The hotel is well located near Circle, on Richmond Road.
If I'm ever in Lexington, I would definitely stay at this property again.
